Private training optionsDon't miss out just because classes are not for you!
Some dogs also do better with private training. They may be anxious and fearful around new dogs or people, stressed in new places or have health problems that make training in group classes a poor choice.
Private training ensures that both you and your dog are relaxed, comfortable and in a great situation in which to learn.
One of the first things I need to do is gather some information about you and your dog. If your dog has an emotional problem (fear, anxiety etc.) an initial consult will be required so I can delve deep and get a clear picture of what is happening. These last approximately 90 minutes.
Define Your Goals
Whether you need an initial consult or not, we will need to define your goals and work out the best way for you to reach them. This may be a specific, personalised plan or it may be one of my ‘pre-made’ plans for common issues such as recalls or pulling on lead.
Choose Where You Want to Train
You can train at my premises or you can choose to train at your home, or in a real life setting such as a park. Or we can do both – start at my premises and then take it on the road to make sure both you and your dog are confident to apply what you have learnt.
Private Training is the flexible solution to common issues such as:
- Barking and lunging on lead
- Counter surfing/stealing

“I just wanted to email you to thank you for your advice and assistance. I thought you might like to know that after a few weeks of consistent work Roxy’s recall has improved tremendously. We can walk her off lead again now, as she can be called back consistently, even from interesting things like other dogs and seals. Her socialisation within a controlled environment is going well also.”
